Still missing in action like Chuck Norris currently, but here’s another round of horrendous Letterboxd opinions your host has had festering in his drafts folder *insert Frankie Howerd gif here* in case of times like this.
Over one hundred years of film history and culture condensed into moronic idiocy by the modern era masses.
Back soon, hopefully.

I have only seen five of these films being condemned (which are damned great). While even idiots are entitled to their opinions, I would like them to state what they think qualifies as "good" film. Probably only hyperactive, snarky crap that looks just like ninety percent of everything made in the last ten years. After all, even hyperactive, snarky crap made any longer ago than that is "old."
ReplyDeleteThey’re a lost cause. Much of their pithy, glib remarks stems for attention to earn followers.
DeleteI see no problem with ridiculing them when they can’t be bothered to state why the dislike something.
I hope my Letterboxd reviews of French farthouse crap make a post like this on some ponce's blog.
ReplyDeleteDoes Sight and Sound even blog?
DeleteI can get pretty snarky myself sometimes when I don't like a movie, so I shouldn't judge. However, the comments made concerning Sunrise, King Kong and The Night of the Hunter are egregious enough to call for a congressional investigation. This is not hyperbole.
ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons why I initially left Letterboxd.
DeleteI give it another five to ten years when Gen Beta, or whatever name they’re given, to be more of an online presence, and absolutely trash every post-2015 movie the lowercase-typing, millenilialese-speaking, hive minded contrarians pretend to love.
